This blog is for those who don't need to be hand-held, coddled, baby-talked to, or otherwise have their valuable time wasted with fluff. You'll love this blog if you are smart enough to figure out most shit on your own. And you simply want the important info, because you've got real shit to do. I'll be taking longer reports and simplifying them into the most important bullet points.
I read report after report on the latest and greatest in marketing techniques, social media practices, selling things on the Internet, etc. etc.
What annoys me is that there is typically, about 75-90% fluff in these things. All this crap in the beginning and through out that, is mostly revolving around why the person saying it is qualified to say it, what they've accomplished, or otherwise making them look real good so you want to buy whatever it is they are selling. So, my webinar that's 60 minutes long is a good 20 minutes of complete bullshit. And a real waste of my precious time. Most of the time I already know MOST of what I'm hearing, but I want to know a little more about it, the things that are working, the things that are failing... when and why? If I'm spending my valuable time in a webinar or reading a paper or report, then I don't NEED to be sold on it, I've already done my homework and I already know that this SOUNDS like its gonna give me those 1 or 2 pieces I'm missing.
Then you've got this impression that if you don't talk for a good 20 minutes on who you are, you haven't built up enough value on that $20 item you are trying to sell at the end.
BULLSHIT I SAY!!!
I would MUCH rather pay $30 and skip the bullshit than $20 and have to listen to how they went thru, blah blah fuckin blah to get there and this is why you should trust them. Just shut up and give me the bullet list... in under 5 minutes if that's possible.
Well, contrary to popular belief, I think it is possible. I think there may be one or two of you out there, like me, who think you are smart enough to skip the fluff and get right to the point. . I KNOW its possible in almost every single one of the things I've watched, participated in, read, etc.
So, that's what this is gonna be. The short genius version for those who are already smart enough to run with the most important details. You already know at least something about me, so you know whether you trust what I'm gonna say or not, so you therefore know that the facts/tips/ideas you are gonna get here will be top notch.
This blog won't be for everyone.. and its not meant to be. In fact it won't be for MOST people. And for MOST people, there's hiring people like us to do this stuff for them. Which is completely fine, and they've got other more important things taking up their time.
